About Jagannath Mandir Toronto
Jagannath Mandir Toronto is a sacred space dedicated to Lord Jagannath, fostering devotion, tradition, and community harmony through daily worship, festivals, and seva.
Our Story
Jagannath Mandir Toronto is the first and only Jagannath Temple in Canada, dedicated to Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra.
The sacred deities were brought from Odisha in 2008 by the GTA Odia community and were initially worshipped at Bharat Sevashram Sangha.
In 2018, with the blessings and support of philanthropist Mr. Sradhananda (Dan) Mishra, the Mandir found its permanent home in Brampton.
Today, the temple serves as a spiritual and cultural center, offering daily worship, festivals, and seva for devotees of all backgrounds.
