Jagannath Mandir Toronto – A Temple of Love, Light, and Devotion
Nestled in the heart of Brampton, Jagannath Mandir Toronto is the first and only temple in Canada dedicated to Lord Jagannath of Puri — the Lord of the Universe, who embraces all beings with unconditional love and compassion.
Our temple stands as a symbol of faith, unity, and the timeless Indian tradition of seva (service) and bhakti (devotion).

Our Journey of Faith
The Jagannath Mandir of Toronto is the first and only Jagannath Temple in Canada — the divine abode of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, Devi Subhadra, and Sudarshan Chakra.
In 2018, through the generous support of philanthropist Mr. Sradhananda (Dan) Mishra, the temple found its permanent home at 9893 Torbram Road, Brampton.
Since then, the Mandir has blossomed into a spiritual and cultural hub — housing not only the Chaturdha Murti but also sanctums for Lord Ganesh, Lord Shiva, Maa Kali, Maa Lakshmi, Hanumanji, Navagraha, Durga Maa, Khatu Shyam, Radha-Krishna, and many more divine forms.
Today, with three full-time priests, daily pujas, and vibrant festivals throughout the year, the temple radiates the same spiritual energy as the sacred Jagannath Dham of Puri.
Our mission is to nurture spiritual growth, cultural pride, and community harmony through devotion to Lord Jagannath.
We aim to
Construct and maintain a traditional Puri-style Jagannath Temple for worship, meditation, and fellowship.
Promote Hindu spiritual values and preserve Jagannath culture across North America.
Encourage interfaith harmony and compassionate living.
Support education, cultural programs, and humanitarian work for all.

We believe every soul — regardless of age, faith, or background — finds peace in Jagannath’s love.
