Become a Volunteer — Serve with Devotion
Volunteering at Jagannath Hindu Temple Toronto is a way to offer your time and talent in service (seva) to Lord Jagannath and the community. Every helping hand — whether small or big — keeps the temple vibrant, welcoming, and spiritually alive.
“सेवा परम धर्मः।” — Service is the highest form of Dharma.
Why Volunteer?
At Jagannath Mandir, seva means more than just work — it is devotional service. When we clean the temple, arrange flowers, sing bhajans, or help guests, we are directly serving the Lord Himself.
Volunteering allows you to:
Deepen your spiritual connection with the deities.
Build lasting friendships in a devotional environment.
Contribute to community growth and cultural preservation.
Offer your unique skills — from cooking to photography to digital media.
“Hands that serve are holier than lips that pray.”
